19th century cornelian erotic intaglio

Depicting a naked bacchant couple in a standing “amorous embrace”

Rather hard to date but from the fitted case, with plaster impression, I would say the latter half of the 1800’s.

Both the material and carving are of excellent quality, there is no doubt it belonged to a rather well-heeled gentleman’s kunstkammer
