19th century steel, gold and hardstone cameo bracelet attributed to Emile Froment Meurice, Paris circa 1870
The four black and white cameos representing Mercury, Diana, Achilles and Bacchus, the bracelet formed by neo-renaissance style steel scroll panels joined by gold links
Seemingly unsigned, which I understand does occur with work by Froment Meurice, the tongue does have a post 1893 Owl poincon indicating it re-entered the market at a later date. In the original fitted case signed Froment Meurice 372 Rue St.Honore
The bracelet has been shortened by three links - these are still in the case but I have not re-installed them as the bracelet is now just a little over 7” in length, which is perfect for most people
