A remarkable and very rare, possibly unique, angular gold and agate ring Roman 2nd-3rd century AD

Massive, at over 35g, and beautifully angular, this is a superb example of a late Roman ring, set with a charming little conical agate
It is very pleasing to wear and fascinating to look at with all the chamfers, bevels and concave sides

Finger size approximately UK size R (about a US 8 1/2)
